Who we are

Küche Chef is a brand of MBL Brands Pty Ltd (“we”, “us”). This policy covers kuchechef.com. We sell our products on Amazon, so when you buy from us you are also covered by Amazon’s own privacy notice.

What we collect

When you use the contact form, we collect your name, email address, the topic you choose and your message. The form sends these to us as an email.

When you email us, we receive your email address, your name if you include it, and your message.

When you visit any page, the server that hosts the site records technical details that every web request carries, such as your IP address, browser type and the page you asked for. We use them to deliver the site and protect it from attacks, keep them only for a short time, and do not use them to identify you.

When analytics cookies are on, Google Analytics records how you use the site, such as the pages you visit, how you arrived and roughly where you are. See Cookies and analytics.

When you buy on Amazon, Amazon handles your payment and delivery details. Amazon shares limited order information with us as the seller, such as what was ordered. We use it only to fulfill the order and to answer questions about it, as Amazon’s rules allow.

What we don’t collect

• We do not run advertising or social media tracking on this site, and we do not let Google use our analytics for advertising.
• We do not set cookies other than the Google Analytics cookies described below.
• We do not sell your personal information or share it for targeted advertising.

Cookies and analytics

We use Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages are useful, so we can improve the site. It sets two cookies, _ga and _ga_<id>, which last up to two years and tell Google your visits come from the same browser. We do not use them to identify you.

• In the UK, the EEA and Switzerland, analytics cookies are off until you accept them in the cookie banner. While they are off, Google Analytics still receives basic, cookieless signals, such as that a page was viewed, which it cannot link to you or to your other visits.
• Everywhere else, analytics cookies are on unless you turn them off.

You can accept or reject analytics cookies at any time with Cookie settings at the bottom of every page. We remember your choice in your browser’s local storage, not in a cookie. Rejecting also deletes any Google Analytics cookies already set.

How we use your information

We use what you send through the contact form or by email to reply to you and to deal with your request, for example a question about using our products or about an order. We do not add you to a mailing list.

Who we share it with

• Vultr hosts this website on its servers.
• Our email provider delivers contact form messages to our inbox and stores the messages we receive and send.
• Google runs Google Analytics for us. See how Google uses information from sites that use its services.
• Authorities, if the law requires it.

These providers may process information in the United States, Australia or other countries. We only use providers that protect personal information to a standard at least as high as this policy.

How long we keep it

We keep contact form messages and emails for as long as we need them to deal with your request and keep reasonable business records, then delete them. You can ask us to delete yours sooner.

Your choices and rights

You can ask us to show you, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you. Depending on where you live, for example California or Australia, you may have further rights under your local privacy law. Email us and we will reply within 30 days. We will not treat you differently for asking.

If you are not happy with our reply, you can complain to your local privacy regulator, for example the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.

Children

This site is not aimed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. If you think a child has sent us their details, email us and we will delete them.

Security

The site is served only over an encrypted connection (HTTPS). We limit who can read contact form messages and emails to the people who need to reply to them.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will update it here and change the date at the top.
